Reggie Golden, Cody Buckel and Kellen Sweeney, all second round picks in the 2010 draft, recently agreed to signing bonuses reports Baseball America's Jim Callis.
- Golden, a high school outfielder from Wetumpka HS in Alabama, signed for $720K with the Cubs, $157K over the recommended slot bonus for the 65th overall pick.
- Buckel is a high school pitcher from Royal HS in California. The 72nd pick of the 2010 draft by the Texas Rangers, Buckel signed for $590K, a little bit less than 85K above MLB's slot recommendation.
- High school shortstop Kellen Sweeney agreed to a $600K signing bonus with the Toronto Blue Jays. The 69th overall pick, Sweeney got just shy of $70K over what MLB recommends for that pick.
