Drafted: 3rd round of the 1996 draft by the New York Yankees
Scouting Report: Owns decent power, an amazingly good eye and on-base skills. Is a tremendous defensive first baseman with above-average mobility around the bag. Is as injury-prone as any position player in Major League Baseball. Despite tremendous patience at the plate, he strikes out too much. Lacks elite power.
