Scouting Report: Hahn’s fastball sits at 91-96 mph and has plus life, and he has the potential for three other above-average pitches in a curve, slider and cutter. Hahn had the best arm in the Cape League, and is likely pitching his way into a very high draft pick and a lot of money next year. His relief appearances for Chatham were mini-events at the ballparks, and scouts and agents are went to games hoping they’d see him throw an inning. Hahn’s fastball sat in the 96-98 mph range. He also throws a decent 75-76 mph curveball and an 83 mph changeup. He is a big strong kid who throws with smooth arm action, so there is no reason he won’t be able to maintain his velocity. He will likely pitch as a reliever in the Major Leagues.
