Bio
School: Los Angeles Pierce College
Drafted: 7th round of the 1999 draft by the St. Louis Cardinals
Scouting Report: A good overall athlete. A switch-hitter who gets a good swing on the ball with gap power. Has above-average speed on the bases and in the field and is an active and efficient base-stealer. Hustles. Can be streaky. Strikes out too much for a guy without a lot of power. Could take more walks. Doesn't have much of an arm in the outfield. Solid all-round outfielder with some leadoff ability.

2010 Baseball Free Agents: Center Fielders (10/14/2009)
The free agent center fielders available do not quite have the firepower that the left fielders do led by Jason Bay and Matt Holliday. However, for the more frugal team, names like Rick Ankiel, Rocco Baldelli or Coco Crisp could have a solid season in 2010.
