Ranaudo sounds to be pretty nasty and a possible good pick anywhere in the top 5, but I have a few concerns I need to see answered before I peg him as a definite elite draft prospect. First, I know nothing about his 3rd pitch. I have heard he has a plus curevball, but what about the changeup? Is it decent? Also, what velocity range is he at now? Toward the end of the season last year, he lost a few ticks off of his fastball making him a bit more hittable, but if he proves that he can sit in the low to mid 90's all season long and also can maintain his secondaries throughout the season, he is a definite top 5er

I go to LSU, and played baseball most of my life. IMO what's best about Ranaudo is his presence on the mound and intangibles off the field. Not to mention he can throw some nasty stuff too. I think he's a can't miss.

Couldn't agree more. We have him as the #3 available player in the draft. Behind only Harper and Taillon.

If this guy has good control I dont see how he couldnt go in the in the top ten. especially with a good off speed to go along with his mid 90s fast ball.
