Draft Update: Pedro Alvarez

The Pittsburgh Pirates were thrilled last week that they were able to sign their #1 pick (#2 overall pick) Pedro Alvarez to a $6M minor league deal.  Word out of Pittsburgh today is that Alvarez still hasn't shown up for a physical or press conference, 10 days after he agreed to the deal.  While the contract has not been physicall signed yet, Alvarez has already been paid his $3M "signing" bonus.
